Job Opening: Market Research Intern for Indonesian Citizen

We are looking for a German-speaking intern to support our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international business relations between Germany and Indonesia. You will assist various departments and contribute to projects that promote German businesses and foster partnerships in Indonesia.
 

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, supporting in: 

  • Research on emerging industry trends, market opportunities, and regulatory environments in Indonesia. Summarize findings into reports, presentations, and articles.
  • Organizing and coordinating business delegations from Germany to Indonesia. This includes handling logistics, participant management, and scheduling business meetings.
  • Preparing and execution of webinars, conferences, and networking events that connect German and Indonesian businesses.
  • Drafting articles for EKONID’s website, newsletters, and social media channels. Translate relevant content from German to English or Indonesian.
  • Day-to-day tasks, including database management, coordinating meetings, and handling communication with EKONID members and partners.
  • Identifying potential business partners for German companies and assist in B2B matchmaking activities.
     

Requirements

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Completed or ongoing Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, business administration, international relations, or related fields.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English. Basic knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently, show initiative, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Interested in German-Indonesian Relations and keen to learn about and contribute to bilateral economic relations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
