Background | To maintain the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and create jobs, the "Making Indonesia 4.0" roadmap was presented at the Hannover Messe. Increased digitization is intended to make the manufacturing industry fit for the future. Internally, the industry must prepare its employees for the new challenges. In view of the digitization that has already begun in the service sector, especially e-commerce and fintech, the logistics and finance sectors are also of interest. On the education side, adapting curricula and creating incentives for more research and development are among the goals of the "Making Indonesia 4.0" initiative. The Corona pandemic has significantly increased the trend toward more digital learning methods and work processes. More digital applications in industry mean new manufacturing methods and possibly new products. For suppliers of learning equipment, industrial training centers as well as private and public schools and universities are of interest. Modern equipment is needed. Digital learning equipment in particular will gain in importance. |
