EKONID's Membership Eligibility and Admission

In accordance with Article 3, paragraphs (2) and (3), of AHK Indonesia/EKONID's Articles of Association, membership shall be governed by the following provisions:

 

(2) Ordinary membership may be given to Indonesian and German private companies and organizations, domiciled in the Republic of Indonesia or in the Federal Republic of Germany, including their affiliations and representative offices, which are involved directly in Indonesian– German economic relations and actively support and maintain such relations. Companies, organizations and individuals may join as extraordinary members without having any voting rights.

 

(3) The admission of members shall be decided by the Executive Board, with approval from the Supervisory Board based on a written request. The Supervisory Board’s approval concerning membership admission shall be reached by a majority of votes; this decision shall be communicated in writing to the applicant.

 

The Supervisory Board’s approval shall be undisputable. No reasons shall be required to be provided for any refusal of an application.

 

Upon the proposal of the Board of Management, the Supervisory Board may elect Honorary Members of the Association.
