Business delegations and networking

We organize and lead high-profile business delegations focused on renewable energy opportunities, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Renewables Academy AG (RENAC).

These delegations facilitate direct connections between German renewable energy experts and Indonesian stakeholders, allowing companies to explore potential partnerships and investment opportunities.

Knowledge transfer and information sharing

EKONID arranges workshops, conferences, and roundtable discussions, bringing together key players in the renewable energy sector, including government officials, industry associations, and private companies. Collaborations with organizations like the Indonesian Society for Energy Conservation and Efficiency (MASKEEI) and the Indonesia Renewable Energy Society (METI/IRES) create platforms for exchanging insights and keep the industry informed about the latest developments.

Market entry support

Our team provides tailored advice and guidance for German companies looking to enter or expand in the Indonesian renewable energy market. With a deep understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and potential challenges, EKONID helps businesses navigate cross-cultural interactions effectively. These efforts are supported through close collaboration with the German Energy Solutions Initiative.

Project facilitation

EKONID identifies and promotes technologies aligned with Indonesia's energy transition goals. Support is provided for partnerships in renewable energy subsectors such as solar PV, wind, biomass, hydropower, waste-to-energy, and green hydrogen. Collaborations with key players like PT PLN Nusantara Power, Pertamina, Medco Energi, and PT Barito Pacific Group ensure successful project development.

Government engagement

We facilitate meaningful engagement between businesses and relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the New and Renewable Energy Conservation (EBTKE) Directorate General. These discussions position companies' solutions within Indonesia’s energy transition framework, creating impactful opportunities for collaboration.
