On 23 July 2026, the German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EKONID/AHK Indonesia) hosted a CEO Business Roundtable, bringing together leaders from German member companies in Indonesia for an exchange on business developments, regulatory challenges, and opportunities in the Indonesian market.
The roundtable provided a platform for participants to discuss Indonesia’s evolving business environment, share experiences from their respective industries, and exchange perspectives on key opportunities and challenges affecting German companies operating in the country.
The event began with welcome remarks and an introduction to the meeting objectives, followed by CEO introductions and a roundtable discussion covering market developments, business priorities, and areas where EKONID can continue to provide support. Participants also shared key takeaways and discussed topics of relevance for the wider German business community in Indonesia.
During the session, EKONID presented its enhanced member engagement strategy, including a new premium partnership format and a broader range of business platforms designed to respond to members’ evolving needs. The new formats aim to provide more opportunities for executive-level exchange, industry dialogue, networking, and direct engagement between members and relevant stakeholders.
The initiative reflects EKONID’s continued efforts to strengthen its role as a platform for German companies in Indonesia by facilitating knowledge sharing, fostering connections, and creating targeted opportunities for members to address shared interests and challenges.
The event concluded with closing remarks and a networking reception, allowing participants to continue discussions and build further connections within the German business community.
As the official representative of German business in Indonesia, EKONID continues to support bilateral business relations by providing information, networking opportunities, and platforms for cooperation between German and Indonesian companies.
