Kartini Muljadi, former Board Member of AHK Indonesia / EKONID (2007–2008) and founder of Tempo Scan Group, passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 95.
Recognized as one of Indonesia’s most influential business leaders and legal professionals, Mrs. Muljadi built an enduring legacy that bridged law, industry, and entrepreneurship. Through Tempo Scan Group, she helped shape Indonesia’s pharmaceutical and consumer goods sectors, establishing household brands such as Bodrex, Hemaviton, and Marina.
Before venturing into business, Mrs. Muljadi had a distinguished career in law. A graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, she completed her Postgraduate Studies in Public Notary in 1967 and later served as Senior Partner of Kartini Muljadi & Rekan, one of Indonesia’s leading corporate law firms. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Capital Markets Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of Indonesia in 2004.
During her tenure at EKONID, Mrs. Muljadi maintained close relations with the Indonesian-German business community. In 2008, she took part in EKONID’s European Joint Luncheon at the InterContinental Jakarta Midplaza, where she shared her insights on Indonesia’s legal and business environment.
