EKONID launched its Member Visit program in July 2026, visiting six member companies to strengthen direct exchange and gain first-hand insights into their activities in Indonesia.

The new Member Visit program is designed to bring EKONID closer to its members through regular company visits and direct discussions on their activities, developments, and areas for cooperation in Indonesia. During its first month, EKONID visited Bosch Indonesia, PT Wilo Pumps Indonesia, BMW Group Indonesia, PT GEA Westfalia Separator Indonesia, PT Schaeffler Solutions Indonesia, and PT KSB Indonesia.

Bosch Indonesia – 7 July 2026

EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath and Head of Membership & Events Ms. Mei Tobing visited Bosch Indonesia and met with Managing Director Mr. Pirmin Riegger, Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations Ms. Fenny Sofyan, and Mr. Noviar Hana from Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs.

 

Bosch has been present in Indonesia since 1919 and is active across mobility, industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange on Bosch's activities in Indonesia and potential areas for continued cooperation.

PT Wilo Pumps Indonesia – 16 July 2026

EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath met with Mr. Rachmat Fauzie, Managing Director of PT Wilo Pumps Indonesia, for an exchange on the company's activities and its long-standing cooperation with EKONID.

 

Wilo has operated in Indonesia since 2008, providing pumps, system solutions, and services for building services, water management, and industrial applications.

BMW Group Indonesia – 22 July 2026

EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath met with BMW Group Indonesia President Director Mr. Peter Medalla and Vice President of Customer Support Mr. Mahalingam Maganderalingam. Mr. Stephan Blocks and Ms. Raja Falency Arifah from EKONID's Training and Education Department also took part in the meeting.

 

The discussion focused particularly on potential cooperation in vocational education and practical training for skilled workers. BMW Group Indonesia has been active in Indonesia since 2001 and oversees the BMW and MINI brands in the country, including selected models assembled locally.

PT GEA Westfalia Separator Indonesia – 24 July 2026

EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath met with Mr. Peter-Eddy Surya, Country Managing Director Indonesia of PT GEA Westfalia Separator Indonesia, for an exchange on the company's activities and continued cooperation.

 

GEA has been present in Indonesia since 1984 and supplies machinery and technologies for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing, as well as separation technologies, engineering expertise, and related services.

PT Schaeffler Solutions Indonesia – 27 July 2026

EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath met with Mr. Craig Edwards, President Director of PT Schaeffler Solutions Indonesia, to discuss the company's activities in Indonesia and continued cooperation with EKONID.

 

Schaeffler has been active in Indonesia since 2005. The German technology company provides products and solutions across areas including bearings, electric mobility, drive systems, chassis technologies, industrial applications, and renewable energy.

KSB_EKONID Member Visit July 2026
PT KSB Indonesia – 28 July 2026

EKONID concluded the first month of its Member Visit program with a visit to PT KSB Indonesia, part of German pump and valve manufacturer KSB.

 

PT KSB Indonesia has been active in the country since 1993 and employs 186 people. The company provides pumps, valves, customised solutions, spare parts, and after-sales services for sectors including building services, industry, chemicals, water and wastewater, energy, and mining.

 

Through the Member Visit program, EKONID will continue its direct exchange with member companies and maintain close connections across the German-Indonesian business community.
