The Member Visit program provides EKONID with an opportunity to maintain close contact with its members, gain first-hand insights into their activities and developments in Indonesia, and discuss areas for continued cooperation. After visiting six member companies during the program’s first month, EKONID continued the initiative with three company visits in August.
PT Bosch Rexroth Indonesia – 4 August 2026
EKONID Executive Director Dr. Monika Erath visited PT Bosch Rexroth Indonesia and met with Managing Director Mr. Kristo Kenmart and HR Business Partner Mr. Sudarmono. The exchange covered the company’s activities in Indonesia, developments in the country’s industrial sector, and opportunities for continued cooperation.
Bosch Rexroth is a German supplier of drive and control technologies, providing solutions for industrial and mobile applications as well as factory automation. In 2026, Bosch Rexroth Indonesia marks 25 years of operations in Indonesia, where its technologies and automation solutions serve industries including manufacturing, mining, cement, food and beverage, marine, and material handling.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss the role of automation, digitalisation, and efficient industrial technologies as Indonesian industries continue to develop.
PT Kärcher – 7 August 2026
On 7 August, Dr. Erath visited PT Kärcher and met with Managing Director Mr. Mateus Bernath for an exchange on the company’s activities and development in Indonesia. Ms. Ulrike Modery from the IHK Region Stuttgart (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stuttgart), who was visiting Jakarta, also joined the meeting.
Founded in Germany in 1935, Kärcher develops cleaning technologies and solutions for professional and consumer applications. The company has continued to expand its presence in Indonesia through its local operations and distributor network. Its Kärcher Center Indonesia, opened in 2018, combines the company’s head office, showroom, service facilities, and its first experience center in the country.
The discussion touched on innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and evolving customer and industry requirements, as well as the importance of long-term cooperation in supporting the company’s activities in the Indonesian market.
PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia – 11 August 2026
EKONID concluded its August Member Visits with a visit to PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) on 11 August.
Dr. Erath met with Mr. Antonio Randazzo, the company’s incoming Director, following his previous assignment in Seoul. The meeting provided an opportunity to welcome Mr. Randazzo to Indonesia and discuss the continuation of the longstanding cooperation between DCVI and EKONID.
