News EKONID Summer Get Together 2026 Brings the German-Indonesian Business Community Together

The EKONID Summer Get Together is one of AHK Indonesia/EKONID’s flagship events and forms part of its ongoing efforts to create opportunities for exchange within the German-Indonesian business community. Bringing together companies, institutions, partners, and other stakeholders, the event offers participants the opportunity to connect beyond the setting of formal business meetings and conferences.

This year’s Summer Get Together was held on 3 September 2026 at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, where guests gathered for an evening of networking, conversations, and a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Throughout the evening, participants had the opportunity to reconnect with longstanding contacts while also meeting new members of the community. Over BBQ, refreshments, and informal conversations, guests exchanged perspectives, strengthened existing relationships, and established new connections across different sectors and organizations.

For EKONID, events such as the Summer Get Together complement its broader role as the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Alongside its business services and activities, EKONID regularly brings together its members and partners to support dialogue, professional networking, and closer engagement between German and Indonesian businesses.

The Summer Get Together is designed specifically as a more informal counterpart to EKONID’s business-focused activities. The relaxed setting allows members, partners, and colleagues to meet outside their usual professional environment while remaining connected to the wider German-Indonesian business network.

The evening also reflected the diversity of the community surrounding EKONID, with guests from different industries and organizations coming together in one setting. These opportunities for personal exchange remain an important part of strengthening long-term business relationships and maintaining an active network in Indonesia.

AHK Indonesia/EKONID would like to thank all members, partners, and guests who joined the EKONID Summer Get Together 2026 and contributed to the evening.
